Search form doesn't work

I have carefully added a Search page using the FrontPage 2003 search template for my Web site at http://mefischer1.home.comcast.net/ and recalculated hyperlinks before uploading it
But whenever I try the search function I get the error message: Cannot run the FrontPage Server Extensions on this page: "http://home.comcast.net/SearchPage.htm
Is there some step I still need to take? Is it possibly a problem with the ISP? By the way, my site's Counter form works fine

Is your ISP using a Front Page Server? Have them re-
install the Front page extentions on the web site.
Hope this helps

According to
http://mefischer1.home.comcast.net/_vti_inf.html
The site does not have the FP Server Extensions, so the search (and all other features requiring the FP SE will not work and should
not be used)
For a list of features requiring the FP SE see

But the site has a fully functioning hit counter, which is one of the things that shouldn't work if the site lacked the extensions.

I have discussed this search form problem with my ISP. I told them I had previously signed up for the FrontPage extensions and re-signed up in case it was not "taking." I have also repeated the FrontPage process of "recalculating hyperlinks," which is required to update the search form. However, the search form still doesn't work, although the hit counter o
my site, which also requires FrontPage extensions, does work.

Here was their response:

"Our PWP server supports frontpage extensions and no changes need to be
made on our end once you have activated the option to use frontpage
extensions. Unfortunately we are unable to escalate or troubleshoot
your issue concerning your search form as we are able only to provide
support for connectivity to the PWP server.

So where does this leave me? With a web site with FrontPage Extensions, but
that does not enable a FrontPage search form to work

Again, I ask, is there something I am doing wrong that is preventing the searc
form from providing me with a "results" page

There is nothing that you need to do once you have set up the search form and then published it to
the server via FP's http mode. The only thing that you can try is to actually create the search form
directly on the remote server from within FP and see it then works.

If doesn't work and your host is not will to trouble-shoot the issue is to move to another web host.
