Search for value. replace with formatting

Is it possible search for the value of cell A1 in all columns from C
onward and replace it with the value and formatting of B1, then so on
and so forth with A2/B2, A3/B3...etc.
So, basicly I have a list of values in column A and a list of
replacement values and formatting in column B and I want to apply that
to the rest of the spreadsheet.
 
bumpidy? I've yet to figure this one out, and assume by the reply it is
possible, just varries based on version
 
Bump? I hope that a bump every couple days isn't annoying. I'm sure
this is possible. But I'm terrible with macros. Never had much luck
programming in any sense :(
