In the above, how do you have the Search page always open with
"Advanced Options" checked by default? Registry fix?

Ramesh, thanks for the response. I should have mentioned that I
had already tried -- without success -- the fix given in
Kellys-Korner (the vbs file followed by the reg file). If you
know of any other ways to do this, will appreciate any other
pointers.
