Search for files/folders

I like to have an icon in the quick launch bar,
that goes to the place where I can search all the files and folders
that are in "My Computer".
In win98se I had it set to include all system and hidden folders.

When I try to save all these options, it doesn't include the hidden
ones in XP.

Anybody out there used a hex editor to change some of the items to do
this?

Any comments are appreciated.

I guess no one has been able to do this.
I'll just have to fiddle with the editor for a while.
