Search folder: Last 7 Days

I can set up a search folder that only shows mail RECEIVED in the Last 7
Days.
I can set up a search folder that only shows mail SENT in the Last 7 Days.

But I haven't figured out how to get a single search folder that shows all
mail SENT and RECEIVED in the Last 7 Days.

What am I missing?

It was fairly easy for me. When I chose my search criteria, I chose two:
"Received in the last seven days" and "Sent in the last seven days". I then
selected both the Inbox and the Sent Items folder and deselected the mailbox.
Works fine. The only issue is that you can have only one view for the entire
search folder. If I choose "Messages", the items in Sent Items shows me as
the sender (which I am) If I choose "Sent To", then the items in "Inbox" all
show me as the recipient (which I am). You can;t have one view for a portion
of the folder and a different view for another portion.

That is exactly what had originally tried, but I did not notice that the
result was ordered by Folder rather than by Date. So, all I saw was my Inbox
stuff, but not my Sent stuff.

Everything is good.
