Search Engine and Address Bar

I can't get my address bar to show up so I can't type in
any web sites (I have to find them in the annoying new
search engine microsoft almost made you take since it
asked each time I opened explorer if I wanted to change
to MSN's new search bar which I finally gave in to to
avoid getting the message again.) Does anyone know how
to remove their search engine and get my address bar
back????? Thanks a ton!

CLick on "View" and then "Toolbars" and check

the "address bar". THis works on Win-2000. I don't know
about Win-XP.
