Search Component

I have inserted a search component into my website infotrain.co.uk as a
separate page. the site works fine and so does the forms which are on a
different page but the search page does not. Everytime I put a word in it
says 'error service not running'. My host says that this is a script problem
but I cannot work out what to do (I am a novice at this). The FP extensions
are apparantly working fine and this is not the problem. How do I get this
to work?

It sounds like your ISP is using Index Server. Call them and ask them to
create a Catalog for your site and start the service.
