i wish 2 convert xp search to 98 find...
can i ?
how?
or at least to change it's default apperance, start point.
i want to get reed off those green triangles.

there is this program called POWERDESK

it gives you a utility called FILE FINDER that is very similar to win98
find.

its free.

One way to change the default start page (and not get all the green rectangles) is to:
1. Click 'Start'->'Search'->'Change Preferences'->'Change File and Folder Search Behavior'
2. Select the 'Advanced' radio button (by clicking on it). Click 'OK'
Now when you open a seacrh window, it will default to the 'Files and Folder' search page.
