If you turned him off using the menu selections in Search: At the
bottom of the left hand search column, click on "Change Preferences."
Then select "with an animated character."

That's part of the problem. The "Change Preference" option
does not show in the left hand search column, just the
usual parameters for configuring your search.
Is there another place to change these settings?

I hate to sound like a dummy. But where is the Customize
button? I've looked in Windows Explorer and IE, but I'm
not seeing a Customize button.
