A year ago, I accidentally added the new Search that reminds me of the
Apple version, and uninstalled it. But recently I wondered if it
could make Outlook work better, since it seemed to want to use it. So
I installed it. I'm still using the old search in Outlook, but hate
every time having to reset what I'm searching for to all folders and
all subdirectories before I do a search.

Then I needed to look for something on a network drive, and found that
I could click on "Search Companion" to get back my old search.

1. Can I get "Search Companion" more quickly than going to the other
sort first?

2. Is there a tutorial somewhere to help me learn the "improved"
complicated search?

I just wanted to look for RUSSELL.JPG on my computer, but had to go to
Search Companion when I didn't know how to tell the new search to
start looking.
