Search Companion

I know that in windows xp the search companion for internet explorer is
automatically set to msn but i cant change mine coz its just got a constant
search errror 403 in there and i cant even click on the new it wont do
anything any suggestions anyone please

Hi thanks for that but i am already running an anti spy ware and anti virus
and both are up to date and there are no virus or spy ware on my pc but i
noticed today on the msn home page it wont let me search either so maybe the
problem is just the msn search engine but i still dont understand why i cant
conduct a new search in the left hand search bar.
Any more ideas would be gratefullly appreciated.
