search box does not work for Chinese characters

My web pages are all in Chinese characters. I inserted a web component " web
search" in my page to search my website. When I type in a keywork in Chinese
characters, it returns zero result. The search component does not seem to
find any Chinese characters. The web hosting is at Yahoo.com and their
server is Frontpage compatible.

Any solutions?
 
You need to contact Yahoo regarding the support for Chinese characters.

This is a Yahoo problem. I had the same problem with them when I first
signed up for their webhosting and after a week and a half they STILL
weren't able to fix it. They are not very bright over there, in my
opinion. I changed webhosts and haven't had a problem since. I strongly
suggest you do the same.

Tom, I did contact Yahoo. all they can say is the search web component in FP
is supported. (they do have FP server extension on their server). My
website shows up fine in Chinese characters. but Yahoo cannot tell me
anything about why the search does not work with Chinese. They ask me to
contact FP.
 
Ok, then you may have to call MS Tech Support, if no one here has a solution.
