Search another Workbook to find result

I am trying to have one Excel file pull up a price from another Exce
file. In cell B3 I type in my part number, B4 is going to be the price
I want B4 to look through column A in another workbook to find the par
number (from B3) and then look in column B of the same row to find th
price of the part number. I am not sure how to make this work. You
help is greatly appreciated

In B4 try,

=VLOOKUP(B3,'Your path,file name and sheet nam
here'$A$1:$B$4,2,FALSE)
