Search and Data Box in Data Access Page

Ive been working on sorting a list of names in microsoft access, found the
Data access page feature to be very help full to publish website version of
the database. Now ive got a list of employees, in a table where their first
name, is recorded in FirstName and their last name recorded in LastName and
their extension numbers are recorded at Extension. What im trying to do, is
to have a search on click feature that is related to a text box. So, for
example if i type the first name of an employee in the text box and click on
the search button, id recieve the result of FirstName & " " & LastName & " "
& Extension in a list box that is located on the Data Access Page. I've tried
to do a query, and use [Please Enter Employee Name] & "*" or [Please Enter
Employee Name] & "%" (for the html ANSI). When i did the list box wizard and
redirected it to the FirstName & " " & LastName & " " & Extension in the
query, i get a box once the webpage is run and it asking to enter the
parameter "Please Enter Employee Name". So to make things more clear, what im
trying to do here is to relate the search and the text box button to that
ListBox instead of having a box that pops up at the begging saying enter
parameter everytime i open the page.

Thanks For the Reply Sylvain Lafontaine I've Checked that site, but seems
rather complicated for a begginner ... Im still reading it through with the
help of the book VBA for access 2003, who knows i might get somthing from
there

DAP are very complicated to program: you must be a guru in both DHTML and
VBScript/Javascript and learn a great deal about the MSODSC control and its
interaction with DHTML.
