SD memory card reader

My computer "ignores" to recognize PC card (passive adapter for SD memory
card) when inserted into PCMCI slot. Could anybody provide a solution?

Download and install the latest drivers from the manufacturers site (install
the drivers with the adapter removed from the PCMCIA slot.)
