Mr Koko

So far I'm not having any luck finding a new motherboard with a scsi slot on
it. Any recommendations?
I have a HP 4p scanner that I need the scsi slot for. Or can it be adapted
to USB??
I hate to give this scanner up, it's been great to me.

You will not find a motherboard with SCSI for your scanner you will need to
buy a seperate PCI card though their should have been a card in the original
machine it was used on?

There are indeed MBs that have on-board SCSI. One that happens to come to
mind is Gigabyte's GA-8KNXP.

However they are usually quite expensive because they tend to be a 'deluxe'
varity of MB. And, they may not have the proper connector for your scanner.

It would indeed be much cheaper and easier to by an PCi add-in Adaptec SCSI
card to attach your scanner to.

Thanks, I'm such an idiot, opened my mouth before my brain. What I have now
is a pci card scsi. I must me getting old.

Thanks again, Mr Koko
