I've got the Vista DVD but I can't install it on my old PC.
The SCSI drive, connected to a LSI53C896 controller on the MB isn't
recognized.
I only have a driver diskette with drivers for WIN9X and NT4.0, since XP and
Windows 2003 never needed a 3rd party driver.

Is there anywhere a list of supported SCSI controllers ?

Since Win 2000 is the latest supported OS by LSI, you might want to file a
bug report with MS to see if there is anything they can do. With luck,
yours will not be the only request. The bug reporting tool is at
http://windowsbeta.microsoft.com/vista/bugs.aspx?&build=0&sku=0
If XP supported the controller, an MS tech may email you back with
instructions on how to use it if it works in Vista.
