Scrolling Text Web Control Terminates Word

Kathy

I have asked this question in the Word NewsGroup, but the
MVP told me to post the question in Windows XP because the
error message title bar indicates a CICEROUI problem.

In our student labs, inserting the Web Control, Scrolling
Text, produces an error.

CICEROUIWndFrame Winword.EXE - Application error
The instruction at "0x77f585c0" referenced memory
at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "written". Click
OK to terminate the program

Clicking OK produces another error referencing memory
0x77f580c9
Clicking OK on this error message produces another error
referencing memory
0x00670065.

The lab computers have a Centurion locking device to
reset the Windows XP computers back to defaults after the
computers shutdown. We uninstalled the Speech Recognition
software (didn't reboot, wasn't prompted to) but still had
the problem.

I can't duplicate the error on non-lab computers (which
don't have Centurion, though Centurion says they have not
heard about any problems like ours).
So I am suspicious of the Centurion device. But our
computer tech swears it isn't centurion that is creating
the problem.

Any solutions or answers out there?

Thanks,
Kathy
