For some unknown reason on my behalf, the web page screen now makes it
necessary for me to scroll left and right to read the entire screen. I went
to Control Panel and checked my Display Settings and their still at 800 by
600 as they always have been. Is there another way to get it back to where I
don't have to scroll to read the page?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you!

It is strange that you have not had to scroll from left to right before. In the past
couple of years, most pages that I go to are designed for 1024x768. If this is a sudden
change, has anyone opened Internet Explorer, clicked the View menu and changed the Text
Size setting?

Have you tried modifying your display setting to say, 1280x768
or 1280x1024, to see if this corrects the problem? Many web
designers are designing their web pages for higher resolution settings,
thereby forcing people with an "ancient" 800x600 setting to use their
vertical/horizontal scroll bars to see the full web page. The problem
is only going to get worse as monitors grow larger in size, and web
designers attempt to fill every niche of their web pages.

You can always set your resolution back to 800x600 if you don't like
the higher resolutions and learn to live with horizontal/vertical scrolling
for certain web pages.

Good luck.

All 1024x768 does is make everything smaller, and makes the scroll larger.
However, I DO like the larger text. Thank you! I guess I'll live with having
to scroll.

All 1280x768 or 1280x1024 do is make everything smaller, and makes the
scroll larger. Thanks anyway. I'll just learn to live with the scroll.
