Scrolling in Word 2002 changes zoom

This happens at odd times, but especially when there is a table on the page.
Scrolling down the page sometimes reduces zoom and scolling up increases
zoom. It's driving me nuts and I can't seem to locate a solution since
scrolling on a laptop is crucial.

In Word, by design, CTRL+MouseScroll alters the Zoom.

I suspect that you have either "finger trouble" with CTRL,
or possible a "sticky" Key.
