Scrollbar exceeds bounds

My right, vertical scroll bar, when left-clicking in the
gray/white space, moves the screen approximately a page
and a half, instead of a single page.

I read somewhere that this is attributal to MSHTML.DLL,
6.0.2800.1276 in WinXP.

In W2K, I find MSHTML.DLL in three locations: Sys32 (vs
1276), Sys32\DllCache (vs 1276), ServicePackFiles\I386 (vs
5.0.3502.5390).

Does the same hold true for W2K?

If so, how do I correct this?

It's a 'feature'.... If you downloaded IE 6 security patch Q824145, that's
likely to be the problem. many are having similiar problems after applying the
patch. You'll find the patch listed under Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs
then scroll down to "Internet Explorer Q824145."

The scroll bar works 'normally' if you just use it as a slider.

Hi

Microsoft is aware of this scroll problem with KB824145 and looking into it...
