Scroll Wheel inop in Address Book

In Office 2003,when you open the address book to select an email
recipient, the scroll wheel will not move the highlight bar down the
list. I realize that you can use the option to type the name that you
are looking for, but wish that the scroll wheel would work also. Is
there anyway around this, maybe with an aftermarket add-in or
something? Or do I have some setting wrong? I cannot believe they
designed a commercial program this way, as I am sure that I am not the
only person that would like to be able to move down the list in the
address book by rolling the scroll wheel on the mouse.

Works just fine here.
This is not a reported Outlook issue. Time to start looking at your local
installation and update relevant drivers.
