I can't see how to create notes with scrollbars. From my research so far i
appears as though Microsoft have created another non standard item and that
it is not possible. But I have actually got one which does have a scrollbar
but I have no idea how it was created. Possibly an old not created with
Woody's Office software WOPR.

I have three different shaped notes icons showing in my icon view. I would
be happy to send an image of this to anyone who would like to see it.

Any help would be welcome.

Thanks,

Nigel

You must use the arrow keys to scroll in Outlook notes.

Hi Milly,

Thanks for taking the time to read my post. Unfortunately this wasn't an
answer to the question I asked. I know how to navigate around without scroll
bars. I have in my notes a note which does have a scroll bar. As this makes
it much more useful I wondered if anyone might now how I might have created
it.

The note with scroll bar can be copied and to all intents acts as any other
note in my notes. It seems like a crazy thing for Microsoft not to have
given this a scroll bar as standard but the fact that I have one makes me
wonder if there is a registry hack or some other means to access this
feature.

Thanks,

Nigel
