I don't have a scroll bar on the right side of my screen in Word 2007. How
can I activate this scroll bar and make it appear?

Office button - Word Options - Advanced tab, Display section. The Show
vertical scroll bar option is the 5th checkbox in the Display section.

Are you sure that the application window is maximized by use of the maximize
button at the right hand end of the title bar. If it has been sized by
dragging the borders, it is possible to move the application window by
clicking and dragging the title bar and if that is the way it has been
sized, the window could have been moved so that the scroll bar is no longer
visible.

Thanks Herb, worked perfectly. It will take some research and practice to
become as facile with Word 2007 as I was with Word 2003. Again many thanks.

Unfortunately, a scroll-bar view/hide option (for either vertical or horizontal) does not exist in my Word 2007 Options dialog box. I attach a snapshot of said dialog box.

Thoughts?
