scripts won't run

i believe the jave scripts won't run on some of my
windows. I can't do a restore because it is blank when I
pull it up. some of my web pages don't show up, drop down
boxes are empty. tried to do a restore in safe mode but I
had the same problem. any idea on what to do?

Sounds to me like a firewall blocking access to some domains (like
doubleclick.com, maybe?) If it's not that, you could check
Tools|Internet Options, click the "Security" tab and check the
settings there.

Tried that. switched to the lowest setting with no luck.
might have to try and re-install java.
