Script Error on Internet 8

I have an annoying intermittent script error which will not allow me to click
onto links at all and even loading up my home page often takes numerous
attempts.

The error says "Ãnternet Explorer Script Error Line 43 Char 12
Error - Library not registered Code 0"
None of the other fixes I have found in this forum seem to solve my problem
The Error also says "URL: file://C:/Documents%20and%
20 Settings/Compaq_Owner/Local%20Settings/Temp/%
7B1BB22D38-A411-4B13-A746-C2A4F4EC7344% Do you want to continue running
scripts on this page - yes no"

Can anybody help me with this or do I need to scrap IE 8?

Show us your .NET code that's causing the problem, and we may be able to
help.

If you don't have any .NET code to show, then you've posted your question
in the wrong newsgroup. You'll get much better help if you find an
appropriate forum for the question.
