Script Error Disappears - Need it so I can debug!

When I visit a site with a script error I see "Error on Page" in the bottom
left of the screen with a yellow caution symbol. When I click on it, a
dialog box pops-up but before I can read the error, it disappears. Running
IE6 on WIN2K Pro. All Windows Updates installed. I need to know what these
messages say so I can debug pages from my own websites. My pop-up stopper is
turned off, no viruses detected. Any solutions? Could really use some help.
Thanks!

Could be just small errors that your compiler is able to manage.

Closing tag missing etc...

Reverse these settings and see if you can identify with a more meaningful
message.

Common script errors messages can be eliminated by Clicking:
Menu: Tools - Internet Options - Advanced tab.
Check "Disable script debugging"
Uncheck "Display a notification about every script error"

I did all that before, I saw you respond to someone else with these
suggestions. Doesn't help. The message pops up and disappears before I can
read it. I've seen at least half a dozen people with similar complaints
about IE6 but no solution.

Any other thoughts?
