script engine error

I have XP Media Center, and recently added the latest optional updates.

Now, when I open Outlook Express or, sometimes, Internet Explorer, I
get an alert that pops up. It's titled "Windows Script Host" and says:
"There is no script engine for file extension ".js".

I have no idea about how to correct this.
Can anyone help me out?

Try updating your version of Java.
