Script debugging won't turn off

Hello - I have a customer who is surfing via IE 6.x to
Danish newspaper websites. He's getting JAVA script pop-
up error notifications. I have turned on "Disable Script
Debugging" and turned off "Display a notification about
every script error", exited IE and rebooted the machine.
I'm still getting these error notifications. The machine
is running XP Home, with English as the default language.
We have noticed that some settings in IE as you navigate
to change settings appear in Danish. Don't know if this
mixing of languages may be part of the problem. Thanks
for any help and advise. Joe Weigle

Hi,

I don't think the language will be the cause of the problem, but it could be
a symptom of the same problem: missing DLL's / mixture of DLL's of different
versions.

Installing the script engine again (www.microsoft.com/scripting) might help.

Kind regards
