Wondering if anyone knows of software for win98
where my mom can just dump JPGs into a directory
and the screen saver just loads files from that
directory (ie, she wont have to deal with creating
a screen saver, she just installs the software,
points it at a directory and dumps pics into
that dir as she gets new ones). Thanks!

Have a look at Vueslide:

<quote> VueSlide is a free utility for distributing slide shows on CD-ROM or
floppy disk. To run VueSlide, put vueslide.exe on a CD-ROM or floppy disk
along with a set of .gif, .jpg, and .bmp images. When you run vueslide.exe,
it will play a slide show of these images, with a 5 second delay between
images. If you put autorun.inf on a CD-ROM along with vueslide.exe, the
slide show will automatically start when you insert the CD-ROM. </quote>

Although the above says use a CD or floppy, Vueslide works ok from a hard
disk folder. The autorun.inf file is only needed if you want to run the
program automatically from a CD.
