Screensaver security problem

I have set up a screensaver and password. Aftehr the proscribed time it pops up and is password protected. However, some key combintations seem to allow the screensaver and password to be bypassed. Is this a known problem? Is there a fix for it? Am I doing something wrong

Please be aware that if you "wake" the PC very shortly after it pops the
screensaver you can get right back in. Try your "some key combinations"
after 5 - 10 seconds of screensaver and see if "they still work". If so
you may wish to post them as part of your question.
