Screensaver in Vista

Hi,

Have just purchased a new pc with vsita pre-installed. am using wireless
mouse and km (logitech), but the screen saver will not activate. have read in
other posts, about patches to fix etc, but auto update can't find the patch.
can anyone help? it's starting to get VERY annoying.
