I am on a network at the office and my screensaver option is grayed out.
Other users on the same network have working screensaver options, so it is
not a network permission problem. Our IT tech has tried to find the problem
but cannot.

There was a post here some time back about running the gpresult command at
a command prompt to see what my group memberships are and what policies are
affecting me. However, when I run it, it blinks on and off so quickly I can't
see it. What is the switch tomake it pause?

Any idea what is causing the screensaver problem?

I am no expert but I have to say that if you are the only one with the
problem, it must be a hardware fault, not a Win XP fault. Your IT person
might like to suggest you get a new machine!

There is no pause switch. Just do a "gpresult > output.txt" and check
the result afterward.
