Screens Coming Up Blank

My Windows Mail (Which sucks compared to Outlook) is giving me problems. When
I try to open a window within the mail system (Reply To, Move To, etc.), it
comes up with a visible border but has nothing inside. Sometimes the main
mail window even comes up with black inside when I open Windows Mail. 1. How
can I resolve this? 2. Does Microsoft make Outlook for Vista? 3. If Microsoft
does not make Outlook for Vista, then why did my phone salesman Leo Gaudette
tell me that I could download it for free online for my Windows Vista
computer? Any insight will be greatly appreciated. I am way too busy to deal
with this crappy system.

Are you confusing Outlook with Outlook Express? The two are very
different email programs.

Which antivirus program are you running?

If you have a copy of Outlook 2003 or newer, you can use it on Vista.
Outlook Express can't be used.

There is an Office 2007 Trial that you can download and try.

I discovered that if you click a "contact" link on a web-page that opens a
'new message' window in Windows Mail, you get an actual blank e-mail, not the
empty frame. This has come in handy, as the address bar can obviously be
blanked and replaced by whatever address is desired. I consider this my
major contribution to the field of computer science, and hopefully my post
will someday be as common as VanderMolen's, which I confess does not yet
persuade me, although I use McAfee and I've been beset by this empty window
phenomenon.
