My screen size has expanded beyond what the monitor

right click on the desktop but that doesn't work. It
started when my cousin played a DVD on my computer. I'm
sure he adjusted the screen size to make the movie fit.

I wonder if it is the same problem I posted below? My
entry reads "Starting an application changes my screen
resolution". The screen changes to a very low
resolution, ICONS become very large, and information is
lost off the page (won't fit onto the screen). For me,
this happens after I attempt to start an application. I
lose control as I have problems selecting things with the
mouse. Problem seems intermittent, sometime everything
works OK. Virus softwared reports no problems?
