When I type an envelope the text appears black on the screen, but when I
print it the text is red. What is wrong?

Does this happen with any other documents or applications?

The usual cause of this type of problem is that your printer uses a
composite black (made up of the colors in the color cartridge) instead of
true black for envelopes and you are low on some of the colors in the color
cartridge(s).
