how do i increase the time before screen saver opens.
also how to turn off screen saver
 
The way I do it is: I right click on my desktop, click on properties, click "screensaver" tab, you then can adjust the time before screensaver activates and you can also turn it off from this window also
 
By selecting (none) in the screen saver window
