screen saver

I just did a clean install of vista home premium and the screen saver will
not start. I installed all of the up dates after installing.

I can preview but it will not start on it's own.

I have it set to begin in 1 minute.

I just started a discussion on this topic 2 days ago. Are you using
a wireless kb/mouse? If so read here..

Thanks, I did read your thread and unhooked my mouse. The screen saver
started working but..........

Here is what I wrote to another thread about my new problem. I wonder if I
should start another thread with this problem.

I need to put my HP notebook to sleep using the power button and then wake
it up. After this the screen saver works but the screen flickers. This
happens with every new start.

I did find that unhooking my MS cordless mouse the screen saver would work
but the above problem still is not solved.

Anyone have any ideas?"
