Is there a registry hack that would remove the ability to change the screen
saver timeout? and / or a place I could put the time in the registry where
the users couldn't change the time/timeout. I've got users setting it
upwards of 300 minutes.

In XP Home, you will have to log on to each user account and apply the
registry edits.

HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Control Panel\Desktop
ScreenSaverTimeout
REG_SZ
Value is in minutes.

Group Policy in XP Pro (gpedit.msc)
User Configuration>Administrative Templates>Control Panel>Display
There you will find "Screen Saver Timeout".

Thanks William,
I've never used Group Policy editor before. Looks like something I should
get accustomed to.
