I am using Windows 2000 Professional and when I set the screen saver and make it password protected and it does not require a password to shut off the screen saver. Anyone know how to fix this?

When screen saver comes on wait at least 15-20 seconds
before moving the mouse or pressing a keyboard key.

Much more efficient:
Ctrl-Alt-Del then Enter. Workstation is locked.
Your screen saver will still come on after the set amount
of time.

It uses the same password you log on with. Do you have Windows 2000 set
to automatically logon during start up?

The password is the same one needed to log on as that user. If the
screensaver doesn't require one (after enabling the check box) then it
sounds as though you don't have one set for your login.
