Screen saver doesn't work

Just got a new Dell Dimension 3000 desktop just a few weeks ago. The screen
saver has not worked once. I've tried changing the minutes, different screen
savers, power saving options, everything. Nothing happens when it comes time
for the screen saver to come up! What could be creating this problem? It's
pretty annoying.

Not be a smart A**, but have you called Dell for assistance since you
are still under warranty and it may be a computer malfunction?

Hi Pierce,

Native or third party? In the meantime:

It may be being set to None. Check your setting for the screensavers path.

Here are some examples:

Marine Aquarium 2.scr > rename it to > MarineAquarium2.scr

In the registry, screensaver will work correctly if it is listed as so:
c:\windows\system32\marine~1.scr

Screen Savers do not work correctly if listed as so:
""c:\windows\system32\marine aquarium 2.scr""
