Screen overlay

[AT and HMB]

Although this problem is on an MCE system I'm inclined to think it is XP
rather than MCE related.
After 12 months trouble free I get the following screen overlaying all
Windows and MCE screens:

"PC
(little pic of connection at back of TV) 5
1280 x 768"
The quotes are mine as is the bracketed comment. PC is the connection on
back of TV and 5 is the number of that connection. Third line is current
display.
I don't have a clue why this happened.
If this is a purely MCE problem I apologise for raising it here, although I
have no doubt there will be the necessary expertise within this group to
resolve this problem which is more than annoying.
