Screen minimizes without clicking on the button

Does anyone have this problem. I constantly (not everytime but very often)
will click on a down arrow etc. and my screen will minimize halfway. Very
annoying. Any suggestions. Thanks
 
Yes I do with my toshiba laptop with Vista Home premium. It is really
annoying when screens collapse just as you are moving about.
