My screen has shrunk!! When I turned my computer on
today the screen was smaller. It does not go to the
corners of the monitor. Desktop has the same info on it
but is about 2" smaller all the way around. Am not aware
of anything I did to cause this. HELP!!!

There should be on-screen controls for the monitor size
using buttons on the front of the monitor.

There are also controls within Windows. Right-click on
the Desktop and go to Properties, Settings and usually
within the Advanced area (button) you can finds these
tools.

This can also be one of the (possible) signs of an older
monitor going bad . . . try a different monitor at some
point . . .

Good Luck !

That is a sign of power transformer/capacitor failure. Not
enough voltage to drive the electron gun. A repair is
possible if the monitor is otherwise in good condition and
the parts are available. But it may be time to consider a
new monitor or upgrade.

Every time you change your screen resolution, you have to resize
the image on your monitor so that it fits your screen right out to
the edges. After you do it once, it will be remembered at that
resolution. You must have chanced your video setting, or some
program changed it. Just use your monitor's controls to stretch
and move your screen image around until it fits the screen the way
you want it to. Your computer should remember it the next time you
boot.
