Screen goes blank with Vista + ATI Radeon

I am seeing the same problem. Have you received any solution to the problem

This thread has been enlightening. My A215-S4747 Toshiba/ATI Radeon X1200
does the same thing: occasionally while watching a DVD, suddenly--WHAM!--the
screen goes blank--nothing. Power down. I don't know, but I think it may be
some sort of "group hug" among Vista proper, Vista Sleep and the ATI. I think
the solution is along the lines of what was suggested above. However, my
Power Options dialog does not have anything about Processor Settings and
therefore nothing about Maximum Power in any of the sub-dialogs. In my case,
I set sleep to NEVER and the screen power-down up to an hour.

We'll see.
