Recently installed xp-pro, installation went smoothly.
Problem starts as soon as system boots & desktop appears.
Within seconds after showing desktop suddenly
screen/monitor goes blank, & monitor indicates that its
recieving no data from CPU. Changed setting in BIOS,
control panel but no use..? My sys config is Celeron 733
mhz with 128 MB RAM. I'm connected to internet via cable.
Any suggestions..?

It certainly seems like you either have a bad driver (possibly for the
video card) or bad hardware. That's not really enough RAM to
comfortably run XP, but the system should boot if all is well. Since we
don't know what you did to troubleshoot ("changed setting in BIOS,
control panel" isn't really descriptive enough), all I can suggest is
seeing if you can get into Safe Mode and setting the video to vga and
then installing a current driver for the video card. Also, be sure your
monitor can support the resolution to which you've set it - use
something conservative like 800 x 600. If you want more help, then
please repost, including system specs and what exactly you've already
done.
