screen flickers in FTP browser window

Very strange issue..... When 1 of the client workstations in my domain tries
to access a few particular folders (not every folder) on my FTP site, it CAN
access the folders, but it looks like the window is constantly refreshing. I
can see the status message in the lower left flashing "getting contents of
folder" over and over again. All files are able to be accessed, but it's very
strange that only this workstation, no matter what logon credentials are
used, is having this issue. Since I'm experiencing this issue using even the
Administrator credentials, it looks not to be a permission issue.
Please help!! This is driving me crazy......

Hi XPissues,

Does this problem occur in both the IExplore.exe and Explorer.exe shells?

How have you set up the connection to your FTP site? With a Favorite link?
Check the favorite shortcut properties for update frequency.
