Screen area problems

Hi everyone!

I used to run a system with a radeon 9500 with dual
monitors. One was 1280x1024 and the other 1024x768. I was
happy, my computer was happy, and life was just peachy.

Then i got this new (well...not new) p4 motherboard and
decided to swap it for the one i had in my computer. As
I anticipated, after doing this, I had to reinstall a
bunch of drivers, and all my hardware seems to work,
except for one little problem.

My larger monitor now clips off the end of my 1280x1024
desktop, so i essencially have a 1024x768 desktop. I have
heard some people call this a "virtual desktop", or
something like that. If i move my mouse out of the
screen area, the desktop will scroll with it, so that i
can get to everything, but this is a real pain. The most
important thing is that it didn't do this before.

Any ideas?

Thanks a bunch!

Uninstall the dual monitor selection.

To change the primary monitor

This procedure applies when two or more monitors are connected to one
computer.

1.. Open Display in Control Panel.
2.. On the Settings tab, click the monitor icon that represents the
monitor you want to designate as the primary one.
3.. Select the Use this device as the primary monitor check box.
This check box is unavailable when you select the monitor icon that is
currently set as your primary monitor.

Notes

a.. To open Display, click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel,
and then double-click Display.
b.. This procedure is intended for people using multiple monitors. If you
have just one monitor attached to your computer, you do not need to
designate the primary monitor. Click Related Topics for information about
installing multiple monitors.
c.. The monitor that is designated as the primary monitor will display the
logon dialog box when you start your computer. In addition, most programs
will display windows on the primary monitor when you initially open them.
