Screen acting different

I have a laptop. It has windows xp. When I use the scroll bar to move the
page up or down, instead of smoothly scrolling down - the screen rolls

Try updating the drivers for the graphics display card. Get them from
the device manufacturer's web site if retail. If it's a computer from a
large OEM download it from the computer vendor's support web site.
