Schools of the future vs Gates

I didn't find anything wrong with that. He seemed to want to get kids more
on technology what's wrong with that.

Not usually a Gates basher, but this really sucks!

Like he's never heard of XO...

Actually had to hit the off button...

The XO project is highly questionable. It may never be a
success.

Gates has more realistic views, and he actually does something
useful. One of the schools in my vicinity here in Germany has
been equipped by his foundation, and that's an immediate
success, for which the students are clearly grateful.

If you ship $100 computers into developing countries, they will
predictably not fulfill most of their promises, for a whole
range of reasons.

How much time have you spent in developing countries?

So tell us about the nausea.. what causes it? Like BG said, getting the
hardware out there is simple enough.. it is the support services which are
most difficult to set up and maintain..

I always question whether or not billionaires have any idea what they
are talking about, don't you?
I mean, what do they base their opinions on huh...facts and experience?
Huh, hard to believe isn't it.

Frank, don't assume just because someone has a lot of money that they have
a single clue in their head. I mean look at Paris Hilton....
